You’ve been trying so hard.
You don’t have to figure this out alone.

A little further, at your pace.Scroll to explore

01 / A place to begin

You can begin right here.

Maybe you’re searching for yourself, your child, or someone you love. Maybe you know what hurts, or only that things cannot keep feeling this way.

You don’t need all the answers to reach out. There is room to begin with what you know—and what you don’t.

02 / Methods & approaches

Your experience is your own.

What feels helpful to one person may not feel right to another. Your story, beliefs, and boundaries deserve a place in deciding how support takes shape.

There is more than
one way forward.

02 / Methods & approaches

Together, we can explore what fits.

Clinical chaplaincy makes space for your emotional and spiritual experience. We can explore meaning, connection, grief, and the questions that surface when life changes us.

Conversation, quiet reflection, grounding, and spiritual exploration can be part of our work. We’ll talk about what each involves and what you feel comfortable exploring.

All beliefs and backgrounds are welcome. Clinical chaplaincy provides spiritual and emotional support; it is not psychotherapy.

03 / What to expect

Beginning can bring questions.

What will I say? How much will I need to share? What if I don’t know where to start? You are welcome to bring those questions with you.

One baby step
at a time.

03 / What to expect

We begin by listening.

You can share what brings you here, ask questions, and talk about what you hope might change. You don’t need to tell your whole story at once.

Together, we can discuss what comes next, with room to pause, ask, and choose.

How does the first conversation work?

The free consultation is a chance to ask questions, talk about what you’re seeking, and explore whether working together feels right.

Can we meet online?

In-person and virtual sessions are available. We can discuss the format, availability, and practical details when you reach out.

Do I need to be religious?

No. Your beliefs, values, and worldview guide our work.

04 / Meet Kara

The person beside you matters.

Reaching out means considering who you might trust with something deeply personal. It makes sense to want to know a little about that person first.

You don’t have to
find your way alone.

04 / Meet Kara

I’m Kara.

I’m Kara Wilson, a trauma-informed, board-certified chaplain. I walk with kids, teens, and families through some of life’s darkest chapters.

I offer spiritual and emotional support with compassion, curiosity, and respect for what matters to you. Your beliefs, questions, and boundaries help shape our work together.

05 / A free consultation

You may still have questions.

You don’t have to decide everything today. A first conversation can help you explore what you’re looking for and whether this support feels right for you or your family.

A beginning can be
as small as a hello.

05 / A free consultation

When you’re ready, I’m here to listen.

I invite you to a free consultation. We can get to know one another, talk through your questions, and explore a possible next step.

I look forward to meeting you.

From Striving to Thriving,
Piece by Peace.
